Zak Klein
Editor for Film & TV
We'll fix it in post...
Zak is a TV and Film Editor and Assembly Editor, passionate about character-led narratives and all things cinematic. He’s edited episodes for US and UK broadcasters in a variety of formats, as well as films and feature documentaries. Comfortable in Avid or Adobe Premiere, Zak has worked with teams at Pulse Films, BBC Studios, Arrow Media, Box to Box, Rogan Productions, Future Studios, Expectation TV, 72 Films and October Films.
Outside long-form editing, Zak often cuts trailers for films and documentaries.
His strengths are in story structure, pacing and musicality – drawing from 15 years’ experience in filmmaking. With over 80 festival selections and 12 awards for his own short films (and a co-writing credit on Netflix original 'I Used to be Famous') Zak now applies his storytelling craft to the edit room - whittling vast supplies of footage into compelling, human narratives with clarity and verve.
Zak edits in Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere. In his London studio he uses a fast, custom-build PC with high speed broadband for remote editing (70+ mbps) and top-tier audio interface.
